Our Mission
Our Vision
The Filipino-Canadian Dental Hygienists’ Society was established on Feb. 10, 2018 as a registered non-profit organization.
We are composed of registered dental hygienists and assistants who volunteer their time to organize community events such as free dental hygiene services, oral health assessment and oral health education to vulnerable communities around Greater Toronto Area thru our Volunteer Outreach Pop-up Clinics.
Our dental mission focuses primarily on providing basic dental procedures such as dental hygiene exams, cleaning/scaling, oral cancer screening, oral hygiene education and referral for follow up treatment to low cost dental facilities benefiting the marginalized communities.
Our vision is to establish a society built on unity, trust and confidence that will mark the status of the Filipino-Canadian dental hygienists in the dental healthcare.
January 2024
Happy New Year!
2023 was a very busy year for us. We held our first fund raising gala, we travelled to Philippines for our very first international dental mission, and hosted several no-cost dental hygiene services in the Greater Toronto Area.
We would like to thank our generous sponsors, our volunteers, our friends, family and everyone who supported and continue to support us. We could not have done these amazing things without you!

April 2024
Our first no-cost dental event of the year was a success! We wish to thank the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto for the opportunity, and MP Shaun Chen for visiting and recognizing the work that we do. Your presence was greatly appreciated!
